This Hub contains rules, supplements, and ideas for White Wolf's World Of Darkness RPG Setting. Most of the 2nd Edition core games are covered here (not Changeling though) - anything released after the five core books is not included here.

Note that this Hub is now closed - I won't be expanding anything else on here apart from my own Continuum background which is now well and truly separated from the WoD. I will no longer be supporting any of the official WoD games here, so please don't send me any more link requests or new material (unless it's for the Continuum, in which case new material is always welcome!). Although I won't be adding more WoD material, the good stuff that was here can still be found below. All material presented within this Hub is © their authors.

Vampire: The Masquerade
Vampire: The Masquerade
"No one holds command over me. No man. No god. No Prince. What is a claim of age for ones who are immortal? What is a claim of power for ones who defy death? Call your damnable hunt. We shall see who I drag screaming to hell with me."
    - Günter Dörn, Das Ungeheuer Darin

  • THE SICARIOT by Arthur-Trevor D. M. Lasher.

The Sicariot are a major new sub-sect of The Sabbat - nominally a counterweight to the Black Hand - consisting of six entirely new Clans and Bloodlines. Centred around the highly theological 'Path Of Thorns', the Sicariot are poised to make their move against the Hand and the rest of the Unfaithful Kindred - they fear the time of Gehenna is at hand, and only those pure of Faith can survive...

  • THE CAINE FILES, by Timothy Toner.
  • [Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3] [Part 4] [Part 5] [Part 6]
The Caine File (all 6 parts, collected in one ASCII text file - 158K)]

Way back in 1993 (back in the heady days of Vampire 1st Edition), Timothy Toner posted the seminal Caine Files to the Vampire-l mailing list. They are an account of an investigation into the existence of Caine, the First Vampire, by a vampiric scholar named Wilhelm [whose speech and narration therein are written in italic text]. In them, he interviews several highly respected members of the Vampire community in an attempt to understand the truth behind the Caine legend. Did Caine really exist, is he naught but a legend, or is he something that nobody has yet dared to imagine...?

The Caine Files remain IMHO the best thing that has ever been written for Vampire. Anyone with even a passing interest in the Caine legend cannot afford to miss this, and there's a wealth of ideas on the vampiric nature for Storytellers as well. In fact, I'd say they're essential for any Vampire Storyteller, and make very gripping (and sometimes chilling) reading. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough!!

    'Shape Shift,
    nose to the wind
    Shape Shift,
    feeling I've been
    Move swift,
    all senses clean
    Earth's Gift,
    back to the meaning
    Of Wolf And Man

    - Metallica, 'Of Wolf and Man'

  • The Television Realm by Dave Sutcliffe.
A Sub-Realm of the CyberRealm, the Television Realm is composed of TV show realities.

    Wraith: The Oblivion

    Wraith: The Oblivion
'Just when I thought I'd seen the last of you
You come here scratching at my door
Your pain and anger's in the howling dark
    Of every corridor I walk...'
      - Marillion, 'The Last Of You'

  • On The Nature Of Wraiths and the Cycle Of Life And Death by Constantine Thomas.

This treatise directly follows on from assumptions presented in my own Sphere Of Prime rules on the Mage Hub. It attempts to explain the nature of Wraiths by connecting them to Avatars and how they fit into the Cycle Of Life And Death, and also goes some way to explaining the metaphysicks of many aspects of the Shadowlands. I've now updated this to be fully compatible with Wraith 2nd Edition, the 'Wraith Players Guide', and 'Dark Reflections: Spectres'.

    The World of DAFTness
    The World of DAFTness
    TOREADOR:"...oh, the ANGST!"
    BRUJAH:"What's an 'angst'?"
SUTEKH:"Oh, it'sss a kind of a crossss, but with a loopy bit on top. My guysss love 'em."
    - taken from 'The REAL Truth Behind Caine'

Here you'll find a selection of articles and texts that are bound to lighten up those haggard, soul-weary players of yours. At the very least, it'll throw them completely, and there's not an angst in sight too. It's a collection of material that's just downright silly or VERY outlandish, from tales of hilarity to the uh... weirder new races that are out there. The contents are written by Storytellers and players from all across the Web, all of whom were struck with a sudden urge to make life a bit lighter in the WoD. Have fun reading!

  • The REAL Truth Behind Caine, by Colin Smith, Sean Halligan, Wayne Jennings, & Leonard King. Inspired by the Caine Files (part 5), this is a transcript of a (hypothetical?) discussion between all the Antediluvians, who are trying to hammer out a cover story that they can tell their nosy progeny if they ask how Vampires came to be. It's one of the funniest things I've ever read, and a must-read if you know anything about the Vampire background. I can't recommend this highly enough - it's a total classic!

  • Fairy: The Cobbling, by Dave White. The problem with Changeling is that it's a fairy game that takes itself seriously. Fairy: The Cobbling on the other hand is an absolutely hilarious stab at the whole White Wolf system. The races are much more interesting too... (Smurf and Lobster, anyone?) 8)

  • Devilbunnies: The Fluffing, by Andrew Weitzman. Based on the alt.devilbunnies newsgroup and mythos, these are complete rules for running the Fudd-Devilbunny War in the WoD, also including rules for Squirrels and Ferrotti characters. For complete background information (including lists of all the known characters in the db-war), the reader is directed to the alt.devilbunnies website and the appendices and FAQs contained therein.
  • Leapus, by Mike Showel. What the heck is it with these rabbits anyway?! Although this appears to be a serious (?!) attempt at making rules for Werebunnies, it just has to go in the World of Daftness. Anyone for a 9 ft tall slavering Crinos bunny with walrus-like tusks?!
  • Pets: The Shedding, by Lee Garvin. Whaddya know, pets do run your life! These are rather fab rules for playing pets in the World of Darkness - anything from a goldfish to Lassie. It coincidentally shares some ideas and concepts with Devilbunnies: The Fluffing, and the possibilities are endless...
