This is a list of Tabletop RPG/Wargame Shops that have online ordering and catalogues. They've been gleaned from the exteremely useful list of Roleplaying Emporia at http://www.ufbs.co.uk/jason/shops/rpgshops.html. That list contains a vast number of shops in these and other countries - including non-English speaking ones - and it also includes snail-mail addresses and phone numbers for those shops not online, which is quite a few. Shops with descriptions are ones that I've ordered from, others are just here in list form (there's a limit to how many times one can say "online store with extensive back catalogue" on one page!). Sure, you can order the common stuff from Amazon.com and similar places but let's face it, they've got it good enough with reading-books already. Meanwhile your local roleplaying store still has much to offer, so support them and buy your RPGs there!
| Leisure Games | Location: North London, U.K. |
| Leisure Games is my local RPG shop at home in London, and I think it's one of the finest on the planet. It has a very large stock of many RPGs (including many out-of-print ones) and also stocks board games and war games (fantasy and historical). Their entire Tabletop RPG catalogue can be found at http://www.leisuregames.com/rpg/rpg_index.htm, and the all important New Release section can be found at http://www.leisuregames.com/new_releases/1_new_releases.htm - this is updated every week. I don't know what I'd do without these guys! | |
| The Sentry Box | Location: Calgary, Canada |
| The Sentry Box is a great store I found online that has a ridiculously large catalogue of RPGs, Books, Computer Games, and lordy-knows-what-else! They also have a lot of hard-to-find material too, so it's well worth looking through their back catalogues. And they're in Calgary, which only goes to reinforce my long-standing belief that all the best stuff is in Canada. I've ordered from these guys and I can vouch for them - they're good! | |
| Le Valet D'Coeur | Location: Montréal, Canada |
| Le Valet D'Coeur is a rather large store in Quebec that has a very good selection of French-language RPGs as well as a huge selection of English ones - very useful if you want In Nomine or Nephilim in their original language (and supplements not available in English). They also have good descriptions of a lot of their games too, which is handy when deciding if something is worth getting. | |
