Evil Dr Ganymede's Men Of Learning

Only a select few are eligible to join the exclusive association that is 'Evil Dr Ganymede's Men of Learning' (Yes, I know it includes women. No, I'm not changing the name - I'm an old school Mad Scientist and I can be sexist if I want to. So nyah). Allow me to present the priviledged few, who have ventured forth onto the Internet to stake a claim on some undeveloped virtual real-estate and make it their own - I would encourage you to salute their bravery and frontier spirit, dear reader, and visit the result of their toil!

  • Anders Sandberg is a veritable NetGod. I think his website is one of the best and most information-dense on the Web, full of all things strange, arcane, and wonderful. Here you'll find reams of info about Transhumanism, Mad Scientists, Magick (both real occult and roleplaying) and general weird stuff. It's a welcome break from all the superficial junk that clogs up the Web nowadays, and well worth a trawl through if you want to open your mind a bit.
  • Homer
  • DJ Babb. DJ dwells in the distant land of Arkansas, whose pronounciation bears no resemblance whatsoever to its spelling. He has a marvellously twisted mind, and is quite probably the weirdest person I know (this is a compliment!). DJ's also a roleplayer, and has written some of the best material I've seen for Mage - check out the Marauder Papers and Nomads, and his excellent Mage page. He's also done a lot of work on his own setting for the Fading Suns RPG which is well worth checking out.
  • Chaos Marine
  • Mike Reed is one of my best buddies from London (I've known him for about 15 years now) and the former Horseman of War. He's in the Royal Air Force - military service runs in his family (so it's genetic...!), and is a big fan of fantasy wargames (of the Games Workshop variety) and is nigh on impossible to beat at them! Mike's website centres on material he's collected and/or written for the World Eater Legion and the Necrontyr from GW's Warhammer 40K background.
  • Blue Sphere
  • Dave Barrett handed in his notice from the human race in 1995, and had his resignation accepted! Also known as Normality, Dave is presently manifesting as a Small Blue Sphere - which of course, is perfectly normal (for him anyway!).
  • Peregrine Falcon
  • Helen G. is one of my best buddies from Lancaster. She's done a PhD at Glasgow University on birds - her mad scientist agenda is (and I quote): "...to take over the world using mutant zebra finches armed with particle beams. It's gonna be great..."! I for one am glad I'm on a bird-free Ganymede :). Helen's also an avid writer, roleplayer and Buffyholic - her website is chock-full of very fine stuff that she's written, and it's also been redesigned to look fab and groovy, so check it out!
  • DM
  • David Morgan-Mar is a fellow Pyramidian, the Antipodean representative of Doctor Ganymede's Men of Learning, and generally all-round decent chap. He's the primary author of Blue Shadow, which is a sourcebook covering the oceans of Earth and other worlds for the Transhuman Space RPG. I'm also involved in the project, writing the chapter on extraterrestrial oceans. His website covers everything from Lego and Roleplaying to customer service and esoteric programming languages, with some scenic non-euclidian detours along the way...
