MAP USAGE
All the maps available here are ultimately based on JPL/NASA data in the public domain, so they are free to download. You don't have to ask my permission to use these maps - however, they are available for personal use only and may NOT be used for commercial purposes. I would ask that you credit me if you use them (see below) and I would appreciate it if you could let me know of any images that you create and make available online using these maps so I can admire them for myself (hey, I like space art!).
Note that any images made through the use of these maps in the rendering process are the property of the image's authors.
Also, please do not make copies of these maps available elsewhere.
If you use these maps to make your own space art, please include the appropriate credit with the image as shown below:
Blue Mars: Constructed by Constantine Thomas, derived from 'flooded' Mars heightfield created using DEM data from Viking Orbiter Topography CD-ROM (JPL/NASA).
Cytherea: Constructed by Constantine Thomas, derived from 'flooded' Venus heightfield created using DEM data from Magellan GxDR CD-ROMs (JPL/NASA).
